George Washington slapped her.

No, not Avedon, silly. Ann Coulter. Who gets soundly slapped by Avedon, not George. —But remembering an old James Thurber joke is the most fun I’ve had yet when thinking of Coulter. So.

I know it's totally wrong, but it's hard for me to read more than three lines of anything Coulter writes w/o speculating on what serious mental illness she might have and what could be done about it. Let's just hope that if she starts hearing voices telling her to rub out "treasonous" citizens, she turns out to be a really bad shot. :(

Does anyone else find it hilarious that the *NYT* kissed Coulter's ass more and more righteously the more she bad-mouthed them as a nest of liberal traitors ? Yet, they fired a bunch of their own for doing just what Coulter does daily: Lying and lazy or non-existent research. How does *that* work ?

The primary phrase that comes to mind is the one coined by Jim Hightower to cover Tom DeLay: "Ego-Bloated Nutball."

In a room together, whom would be more likely to out-nutball the other: Ann Coulter or David Reinhard ? :p We need to get the Portland Arts & Lectures series on this right away, and I need to buy opera glasses and a case of Silly String.
